Kyriba Live Treasury & Finance Summit is the largest gathering of Kyriba’s North American clients, partners and prospects. Held annually since 2013, attendees share strategies, product news, industry trends and network with peers. Through a new highly-collaborative relationship, GES Events and Kyriba developed the 2019 Kyriba Live conference. The new and improved event provided attendees with education, training, networking opportunities, and was used as an avenue to generate new leads for Kyriba. This partnership produced an exciting new event, transforming it from a customer-focused conference to a thought leadership experience.


The Success

The 2019 event was extremely successful for both the attendees and Kyriba. The educational sessions provided visitors with relevant, actionable content. They also focused on best practices and new industry trends, providing attendees valuable takeaways to help them be more successful within their organization.

Beyond the sessions, a wider group of clients participated in hands-on training with Kyriba products. Guests also engaged and networked with their peers, strategic partners and industry leaders in a fun, immersive environment. Kyriba Live is the company’s #1 marketing and sales platform, providing numerous lead generation and partner relation opportunities. The event gave the company an opportunity to expand their ecosystem of partners, prospects and clients.

The Challenges

The team at Kyriba challenged GES Events to help reimagine their annual summit by going outside their comfort zone to collaborate on a strategic road map. Kyriba Live has primarily been a client conference focused around Kyriba’s product and end users. Kyriba envisioned turning its 2019 event into a must-attend thought leadership experience, with more learning opportunities and networking experiences to appeal to the broader financial community. This required all Kyriba stakeholders, up to the CEO, to align with the new goals and objectives of Kyriba Live so the event remained on-target and could be measured against the growth plan.

With the shift to thought leadership and Kyriba’s desire to double attendance, GES Events needed to secure a new venue to attract new attendees as a fresh and exciting destination. Execution decisions were measured against the growth plan, including doubling attendance, strengthening partnerships, and reporting a robust pipeline as a direct result of the event.
